VegBoone is excited to extend another invitation to a specially created traditional Vietnamese dinner with a vegan twist. Nancy, the restaurant owner and chef is a native of Vietnam and has worked previously at an all vegan restaurant in Boston. If you came to any of the previous dinners here, you already know how wonderful the food is. Thanks to Goldie Nabatoff for organizing this fabulous dinner!
Here is the menu! No choices to make, everyone gets each of these dishes. Some are served family style.
Buddha sushi rolls- Panko tofu, avocado, cucumber and pickled carrot
Summer rolls- Grilled tofu, shredded lettuce, mint, pickled carrot and rice noodles wrapped in rice paper
Green papaya salad- Shredded green papaya, with pickled carrot, onion and celery topped with fresh basil and chopped peanuts
Teriyaki tofu and mixed vegetables (broccoli, zucchini, onion, mushrooms) with brown rice
Tofu Xao Xa ot- tofu stir fry with lemongrass, onion, bell pepper and scallion with brown rice
Bun Nuong- Grilled tofu, vermicelli noodles, shredded lettuce and cucumber. Served with homemade sweet and sour sauce.
Pineapple coconut sorbet
$17 per person with tax and gratuity included. Children 5 – 12 $5. Under 5 free
